Abstract: The paper reported the composition and summarized the extraction technology of collagen，gelatin，polypeptide， hydroxyapatite， guanine, highly unsaturated fatty acids, glycoconjugate ,feed meal of fish scale and so on．It also discussed the　application of extraction on food， medicine，biomaterial， makeup， fodder in all directions． All were expected to provide reference for further development and application of fish scale．
