Analysis on basic characteristics of macrobenthos community in the intertidal zone of Min River estuary,Fujian Province

From 2013 to 2019,38 sections in 11 field surveys were conducted for intertidal macrobenthos study in Min River estuary, Fujian Province.A total 195 macrobenthos were found from 10 taxonomic clades, mainly from crustacean, mollusca and polychaeta.The species composition, biomass and abandunce of macrobenthos in the intertidal zone of Aojiang estuary were significantly higher than that in Minjiang estuary.And the H',J' and D indexes of macrobenthos in the intertidal zone of Aojiang estuary were significantly higher than that in Minjiang estuary.The species diversity, abandunce and biomass of macrobenthos in the intertidal zone of Min River estuary were significantly higher in the middle and low tide zones than in the high tide zones.The dominant species in the intertidal zone of Minjiang estuary were mainly small-sized crabs.The dominant species in the intertidal zone of Aojiang estuary were mainly from crustacean, mollusca and polychaeta with two commercial species Ruditapes philippinarum and Potamocorbula ustulata.The intertidal organisms in the estuary of Aojiang need more attention and research.
