Study on activities of hyperglycemia and hyperlipemia of polysaccharides from Grateloupia filicina

The thesis aims at studying polysaccharides’s role that plays in hyperglycemia and hyperlipemia. The authors research hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia respectively by making use of alloxan to build diabetic model and hyperlipidemia fodder to build hyperlipemia model, conducting animal experiment with different doses of polysaccharides and assaying fasting blood glucose, rat’s blood fats (TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C), as well as biochemical indexes of livers. Animal experiment shows that polysaccharides can significantly reduce fasting plasma glucose value in hyperglycemia mice, and decrease the content of TC, TG and LDL-C contained in hyperlipidemia rats, which indicates that polysaccharides really have an effect on hyperglycemia and hyperlipemia.
